Chhusang Valley | Upper Mustang

Chhusang (Thsug in Tibetan) is a village development committee in Mustang District in the Dhawalagiri Zone of northern Nepal. It is located on the Upper Mustang trekking route, between Tangbe and Chele, about an hour’s walk north of Tangbe. It lies at the junction of the Narshing river and the Kali Gandaki. It is surrounded by gigantic red, orange and silver gray cliffs spotted with cave dwellings. The village consists of three different hamlets: north of the Narshing river is Tangma, to the south of it is Braga, and west of Braga, towards the Kali Gandaki, is Cikyab. Rupse Waterfall ,One of the best part of Mustang Trip

Rupse is a waterfall in central Nepal. It is located in Dana VDC of Myagdi District in Dhaulagiri of western Nepal. It is 300 meters (984 feet) tall. The falls are a popular tourist destination. Rupse is located in Beni-Jomsom Highway route. It is approximately 110 km from Pokhara and approximately 40.8 km from Jomsom . Rupse Falls has tremendous beauty around it. Deepest gorge in the world Kali Gandaki Gorge and Kali Gandaki river is nearly situated to this fall. And on an average 1,50,000 tourist visited this site annually.

Plucking Apple at Marpha

The village of Marpha is located at an altitude of 2,650 meters in the Kali Gandaki valley of the Annapurna Conservation Region in Mustang District in northern Nepal. Keeping in mind its remoteness and its barren terrain, one must say that the village is suitably named (‘Mar” stands for hard-working and ‘pha’ means people). The region is no place for those with a soft life in mind! It is inhabited by the redoubtable Thakalis, a clan that is as industrious as it is enterprising. Before 1959, most of the locals were in the salt trading business, dealing with China and Tibet. Tourism and mule rearing have also always been important occupations here.
